Bus Announcement Announcement<p>​​Many students at Tay Shores ride the bus to school. Students need to remember that there are rules for how they are to behave while they are on the bus. These rules are in place to ensure the safety of our students, the drivers, and other vehicles on the road. Please review these rules with your child carefully.</p><ol><li>Sit on your seat during the entire bus ride.</li><li>Talk quietly with the person beside you (no yelling).</li><li>Remain in the same seat (no switching seats even if the bus is not moving).</li><li>No eating or drinking on the bus.</li></ol><p> </p><p>When students are not following the rules on the bus, their driver will give them a pink slip. The Principal and Vice-Principal follow up on these pink slips in the following manner:</p><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">First pink slip:</span> Student called to the office to talk with the Principal or Vice-Principal</p><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Second pink slip:</span> Student called to the office and phone call home is made.</p><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Third pink slip:</span> Removal of the student from the bus for 1-2 days. The parent/guardian is responsible to bring the student to school on these days.</p><p> </p><p>Thank you for your support in helping to keep our Tay Shores students safe on the bus!​</p>
Kidney Clothes Fundraiser/Donations Clothes Fundraiser/Donations<p>​</p><p><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:calibri, sans-serif;color:#1f497d;"><img src="/PublishingImages/Lists/LocalNews/AllItems/Kidney-Clothes-Bowtie-page-banner.jpg" alt="Kidney-Clothes-Bowtie-page-banner.jpg" style="margin:5px;width:455px;height:156px;" />We will be accepting donations for Kidney Clothes from October 23<sup>rd</sup> to November 24<sup>th</sup>. Please bring all cloth based items (clothing, jewelry, boots, linens towels etc…) in a plastic bag in order to support Grades 4,5 and 6 going to a French concert and the Kidney Foundation.</span></p>
Barrie Colts Ticket Orders Colts Ticket Orders<p>​​Reminder that Barrie Colts ticket orders are due back to Mrs. Zmijowsky by Thursday, October 19th. </p><p>Tickets are $20 each. </p><p>Game date: Thursday, October 26th.</p><p>Come and enjoy the game and hang out with our Tay Shores families.</p>

Pizza Kit Pick-up Kit Pick-up<p>​​The pizza kits are getting organized and will be available for pick up between 3 and 5:30. If the team is done organizing sooner, we will update the pick up time here, Twitter and the Remind app.</p>
