Bus Announcement Announcement
Many students at Tay Shores ride the bus to school. Students need to remember that there are rules for how they are to behave while they are on the bus. These rules are in place to ensure the safety of our students, the drivers, and other vehicles on the road. Please review these rules with your child carefully.

Sit on your seat during the entire bus ride.

Talk quietly with the person beside you (no yelling).

Remain in the same seat (no switching seats even if the bus is not moving).

No eating or drinking on the bus.

When students are not following the rules on the bus, their driver will give them a pink slip. The Principal and Vice-Principal follow up on these pink slips in the following manner:

First pink slip: Student called to the office to talk with the Principal or Vice-Principal

Second pink slip: Student called to the office and phone call home is made.

Third pink slip: Removal of the student from the bus for 1-2 days. The parent/guardian is responsible to bring the student to school on these days.

Thank you for your support in helping to keep our Tay Shores students safe on the bus!
